My name is Leonardo Mejía Cruz, I was born in the city of Bogotá - Colombia, I am an Industrial Designer of the Autonomous University of Colombia and a professional in Photography and Lighting of the Film and Photography School Zone Five.

 

I started in the world of photography in 2011, came to my life spontaneously when I started playing with my father's camera and I wanted to continue experimenting. From that moment I made the decision to learn empirically and self-taught most of this journey.

 

Currently, I like portrait, artistic and conceptual photography a lot since it leads me to create images different from what we normally see, images that inspire a thought, feeling or emotion.

Mi nombre es Leonardo Mejía Cruz, nací en la ciudad de Bogotá - Colombia, soy Diseñador Industrial de la Universidad Autónoma de Colombia y profesional en Fotografía e Iluminación de la Escuela de Cine y Fotografía Zona Cinco.

 

Inicié en el mundo de la fotografía en el año 2011, llegó a mi vida de forma espontánea al empezar a jugar con la cámara de mi padre y quise seguir experimentando. A partir de ese momento tomé la decisión de aprender de manera empírica y autodidacta la mayor parte de este recorrido.

Actualmente me gusta mucho la fotografía de retrato, artística y conceptual ya que me lleva a crear imágenes diferentes a lo que normalmente vemos, imágenes que inspiren un pensamiento, sentimiento o emoción.
